Abstract: |
The earliest features recorded were of prehistoric date, including a ditch with terminus and two post holes. The ditch was truncated by a sub circular medieval pit which extended beyond the limit of excavation. The nature of this feature and its fills suggested it to have been a watering hole. Evidence of 18th century activity was also uncovered. [Au(abr)] |
