During the course of the watching brief a Victorian or later culvert was revealed. This comprised three courses of standard red brick bonded with a hard pink mortar. Artefacts recovered from the culvert included clay tobacco pipe stems and fragments of sheep bone. No other archaeological features were observed.[Au(abr)]
