Abstract:		 The site lay in an area of archaeological potential as identified by a preceding archaeological assessment. The 19th century records suggested the former presence of a building with post-medieval or earlier origins on the outskirts of the shrunken medieval settlement of St. Georges. The evaluation revealed archaeological remains in the form of ditches and pits, of medieval and post-medieval date. [Au(abr)]
