Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out before redevelopment of Carrington House. There was no evidence for occupation of the site before intensive activity beginning in the 17th century. Apart from unexplained dumping of fine pottery on the site, little seems to have happened until redevelopment in the 19th century. [Au(adp)] |
