Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site, which lay in an area where a small amount of activity dating from the Mesolithic to the Bronze Age had occurred. During the evaluation, a linear feature and a hollow which corresponded to the position of a paddock recorded on a map of 1933 were observed. No artefacts were recovered. Alluvial deposits were identified, but were found to have no palaeoenvironmental potential. It was concluded that development of the site would have no impact on archaeological deposits. [AIP] |
