Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during groundworks for the construction of four dwellings on land to the south of 46 Station Road and within the Scheduled area of Petruaria (SAM Humberside 98). As a condition of Scheduled Monument Consent the excavations did not exceed a depth of 1m and only a single sherd of Humberware pottery dating from the 13th to 15th centuries was recovered. No archaeological features were identified. [AIP] |
