Abstract: |
Evaluation work comprised the excavation of seven trenches with three test pits per trench where alluvial deposits survived. Alluvial deposits were shown to survive in two trenches, and one of them contained archaeological features dated to the Late Bronze Age. These ditches and a gully probably represented attempts at land drainage or boundaries. [Au(adp)] |
