Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of an extension to the rear of the building. Post-medieval cellarage had destroyed any archaeological features or deposits in the area of the extension. However, groundworks carried out during the re-alignment of an existing service pipe uncovered the remains of a wall of unknown date. However, a medieval date could not be discounted. [Au(abr)] |
