Abstract: |
The evaluation was undertaken at Hazlewood Castle, on a site either side of an existing standing building known as the Orangery, just to the north of the main castle. The evaluation revealed important evidence for the survival of medieval and post-medieval structures and deposits relating to the construction and adaptation of the castle and its surrounding buildings.
