Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment established that the Finsbury Pavement site was located within an area of high archaeological importance. Previous work in the vicinity revealed the presence of a Roman cemetery sealed by organic marsh deposits which contained a unique collection of well-preserved finds, giving a rare insight into the social history, landscape and environment of the post-Roman and medieval city. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
