Abstract:
A watching brief was undertaken during conservation work inside Saxilby Church on the Daubeney Memorial and the tomb which supports it. Observations during the clearance of the tomb suggested that the memorial was moved to be displayed here in the mid-19th century. Decorated painted wall plaster was also revealed. [AIP]
