Abstract: |
The assessment ahead of a flood alleviation scheme by the National Rivers Authority revealed that significant amounts of archaeological remains existed within the study area, there were also numerous Listed Buildings. The likely effects of the scheme on the remains were discussed, and mitigation strategies for their protection or recording were put forward. [AIP] |
