Abstract:		 Evaluation trenches were excavated at the site. The street frontage area contained ditches, small quarry pits dating to the 12th to 14th centuries and a wall which may just have post- dated this period. The rear of the site contained extant remains of ridge and furrow. [Au(abr)]
