Abstract:
The remains of a late prehistoric or Romano-British settlement an associated field system are recorded within the vicinity of Middleham High Moor. During improvements to the training gallops to construct an all weather track archaeological monitoring identified no archaelogical features, although a small number of flint artefacts were recovered. A quantity of medieval and later pottery was collected from spoil to the north of Common Lane. [Au(abr)]
