Abstract: |
The evaluation comprised the machine excavation of five trenches within the southern part of the site. Two trenches revealed evidence for late-19th -to early 20th century quarrying and infilling. It was considered unlikely that any archaeological remains would have survived the quarrying as well as the construction of the timber yard on the site. [AIP] |
