Abstract: |
The watching brief recorded the visible architectural details of the standing building. The monitoring of groundworks recorded previously unknown below ground structural features and land-use. The main features were a well with an adjacent brick vaulted water tank associated with the malthouse and another well and water tank beneath one of the two Georgian houses. No evidence was found of pre-18th century archaeological activity. [Au(abr)] |
