Abstract: |
Fieldwalking of a field north of the church for which a planning application had been made for change of use from agricultural land to a burial ground was carried out. Finds included three struck flints with no significant dating characteristics, potentially of late prehistoric date. There was no building debris, no ceramic material and no notable colour changes in the soil. Previous metal-detected medieval finds within this area had no asscociation with settlement or other occupation evidence. [Au(adp)] |
