Abstract: |
Within the study area the archaeological activity was mainly represented by medieval activity including two Scheduled Ancient Monuments: the remains of a Benedictine Abbey with associated building and earthworks and a preaching cross. Twelve Listed Buildings were recorded within the study area. Medieval ridge and furrow, trackways and undated magnetic features were recorded within the site. The magnetic features included a linear feature and a group of anomalies which may have formed rectilinear and open enclosures. [Au(abr)] |
