Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment was carried out on an area under consideration for development. The assessment established that there were no known archaeological deposits within the study area. Significant archaeological deposits relating to rural settlement of prehistoric, Romano-British and medieval date were present within the vicinity of the site. Although no sites were recorded within the boundary of the study area there was potential for similar deposits to be present in this area. [Au(adp)]
