Abstract:
An archaeological assessment comprising a desk-based survey and a surface inspection of the proposed route was undertaken. One feature of significant archaeological potential was identified, an 18th century Grade II Listed Building. Areas of moderate archaeological potential were identified to either side of Winwick Street where it was possible that archaeological remains and deposits of the medieval and post-medieval period may have survived.
