Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during water mains replacement. The majority of the main in the areas of interest was replaced by thrust boring and monitoring was restricted to 13 access pits and one trench section. No significant archaeological deposits were encountered. A single sherd of medieval pottery was recovered from access pit 1. [Au] |
