The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of proposed residential development. Fieldwork identified the presence of archaeological features across the site in the form of linear ditches and gullies together with several shallow scoops, pits or ditch terminals. Most features yielded no artefactual material and their dating remained uncertain, although several produced worked flint flakes to allude to a likely prehistoric date for some or all of the features. An undated alluvial clay horizon subsequently sealed all archaeological deposits, reflecting the subsequent history of the site as undeveloped marshland. [Au(abr)]
