Abstract:
The evaluation established that it was unlikely that any archaeological features, deposits or finds survived on the site. Within all of the trenches overlying deposits consisted either entirely of recently deposited hardcore or post-war demolition layers. It was likely, based on the clean natural bedrock and the absence of any ground disturbance (e.g. cut features, service trenches etc.), that the former natural south-facing slope had been extensively truncated, probably in the immediate post-war period.
