Abstract: |
Observation of topsoil stripping for a pipeline between Tamworth Sewage Works and Danzey Green Lane Pumphouse revealed no archaeological features or finds. No evidence of a prehistoric burnt mound thought to lie in the vicinity were seen, but traces of ridge and furrow were visable by the Sewage Works. [Au] |
