Abstract:
Evaluation in advance of development revealed a significant deposit of Roman pottery and 17th-18th century pottery and kiln waste, along with a horn and wattle lined tanning pit and wooden timbers from the same period. Environmental analysis found a well preserved and datable sequence of deposits.[AIP]
