Archaeological evaluation of the development site situated south-west of the Roman town, recorded four sherds of Romano-British pottery, but no evidence for the Romano-British burial ground or any features suggesting occupation during the Roman Period. A scatter of post-medieval pottery and other material was also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
