Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, by trial trenching, was undertaken in an area just to the north of the existing water treatment works. A series of gullies, ditches and postholes, potentially representing well preserved settlement of mid to late Iron Age with some evidence of occupation during the Neolithic, Late Bronze Age and early Roman periods were revealed.
