Abstract: |
Evaluation, comprising the archaeological recording of the first of two phases of geotechnical trial pits revealed features, structures and deposits associated with 19th century industrial and railway activities. Environmental samples from peaty deposits across the site, radiocarbon dated to 2850 BC to 1150 BC, produced evidence for alder car and reedswamp on the site. [Au(adp)] |
