Archaeological observation were conducted during the excavation of seven 1.2m deep test pits in various locations at Colchester Garrison in Essex. No archaeologically significant features were observed. A residual fragment of Roman brick was recovered from modern topsoil in woods adjoining Somme road. [Au(adp)] |
