Abstract: |
Supervised topsoil stripping of the footprints of two proposed buildings revealed no deposits or finds of archaeological interest. The results of the site work supported the desk-based assessment which indicated that the 19th century discovery of a probable Anglo-Saxon burial in the Haugh Lane area was on a different plot of land.
