Abstract:
A post-determination evaluation and subsequent excavation at the site of a former horticultural nursery in Wraysbury revealed deposits from three periods: Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age occupation; part of a triple-ditched Roman enclosure and other Roman features; and an Early Saxon sunken-featured building and other Saxon features. Of particular interest was the possibility that the Early Saxon features reflected use of the site from Late Roman times. [Au]
