Abstract: |
An evaluation prior to construction of the 'Shrewsbury Quest' centre involving structural recording and trial trenching suggested 'The Old Infirmary' was actually a hall, which may have accommodated visitors to the abbey. Deposits were disturbed by the dissolution, but evidence for the 18th century use of the site for malting was revealed. [Au(adp)] |
