Abstract: |
A desk-based study was undertaken to assess the archaeological constraints and implications represented specifically by the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Moat Farm (the location of a Templar's Site; SAM Buckinghamshire 136) for a motorway improvement scheme. It was shown that the widening of the motorway within the existing fence line would have no discernable impact upon the recorded archaeological remains, although an archaeological watching brief was recommended on any works which may take place in the vicinity.
