Abstract:		 The desktop study established that the new performing arts block would be positioned approximately 10 metres away from the site of Cotham Tower. However, the construction of the arts building would entail the excavation of the northern end of the same hillock on which the tower formerly stood. Ancillary buildings associated with the windmill may also have been located within the footprint of the new building.[Au(abr)]
