Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during the construction of a town house/apartment block. Apart from the exposure of the brick footings of an 18th/19th century building and construction of service trenches the ground reduction was too shallow to have had an impact on all but the most superficial of deposits. The new building would rest on pile-foundations which, by observation alone, were unlikely to reveal anything of significance. [Au(adp)] |
