Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was carried out prior to a proposed residential development south of Walkergate by The Northumberland Estates office. The assessment found a high probability that archaeological deposits may have survived in the study area. These could have included Anglian remains but were more likely to consist of evidence from the Norman and later medieval periods. [Au(abr)] |
