Abstract: |
A fieldwalking survey was carried out at a proposed development site, near an area where a scatter of medieval pottery had been recorded during an earlier appraisal. Four linear features in the vicinity had been observed on aerial photographs. During the fieldwalk, eleven sherds of post-medieval pottery and 357 struck flints were recovered. Tools amongst the flint assemblage were characteristic of the Late Neolithic. [AIP] |
