Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out prior to a proposed residential development fronting the village green at 48/50 Front Street. The assessment found the area to be of moderate archaeological importance, with a strong possibility that archaeological deposits would survive throughout most of the area. These could include early medieval remains but the deposits were more likely to date from later periods. [Au] |
