Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, comprising the excavation of four trial trenches, was undertaken in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission for residential development of the site which lay within the medieval village. The excavation revealed evidence for 13th century activity in the form of pits and a ditch and gully in the north-west part of the site, on the south-west frontage. [Au(adp)] |
