Abstract: |
<summary>Salvage recording took place on a small portion of the medieval city wall of Worcester (Scheduled Ancient Monument No Here & Worc 285) which was revealed by contractors prior to the construction of an inspection chamber to a sewer which runs alongside the city wall on its eastern side. The square trench excavated by the contractors was photographed and recorded in plan, and the southern section drawn. The revealed portion of the city wall was photographed, described and drawn in plan and elevation; although it had suffered superficial damage it was in a good state of preservation. {italon}Sec(21a) &{italoff} {italon}Au(adp){italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} HWCM4882 |
