Abstract: |
There was very little potential for archaeological remains from before the medieval period. No medieval deposits have been recognised in the vicinity, although settlement in the surrounding area was known. The possibility of the discovery of an early phase of the medieval mill was not discounted. The remains of the structure of the post-medieval mill were more likely, however. A stone culvert at the site would not be affected by development. [Au(adp)] |
