Abstract: |
Five out of forty-five trenches contained archaeological features. A curving ditch or large pit was identified in the northern part of the site. A sherd of probable Iron Age pottery and some Bronze Age worked flint were also identified, along with an undated gully. A prehistoric post hole and gully were located in the southern area. Another area of archaeological potential was suggested, perhaps also of a prehistoric date. [Au(abr)] |
