Abstract: |
The watching brief, in advance of the construction of town houses, revealed no archaeological remains predating the construction of the Oxford Canal in 1790. Ephemeral traces of buildings across the site, as well as a structure identified as the demolished remains of a wharf-side building, were noted. [Au(abr)] |
