Abstract: |
An evaluation trench was excavated prior to development of the Jubilee Line Extension. The evaluation revealed a well defined depositional sequence, which provided evidence for the differing types of alluvial activity in the area. A peaty deposit was equated with the Tilbury IV layer, dated to 1500-800 B.C. [Au(adp)] |
