Abstract: |
The assessment area comprised of Freshford Mill and its curtilage. No listed buildings were present on the site, but a range of industrial and domestic structures survived, the earliest possibly of 16th or 17th century date, with the others probably built in the early 19th century. Medieval and post-medieval activity was identified across the broader study area with only one stray find (a Roman key) dating to an earlier period.[Au(abr)] |
