Abstract: |
It was shown that the proposed development site had been situated within the centre of the medieval and post-medieval town, lying adjacent to the medieval market place and between the site of the parish church and the castle. It was also noted however, that cellaring within the vicinity of the development site may have significantly disturbed earlier archaeological deposits. [AIP] |
