Abstract:
The assessment identified features that might be encountered during the insertion of a pipeline. A large amount of archaeological features were encountered which spanned a wide range of time periods. Although the majority of the features were associated with medieval settlement and agricultural activity, the site was also found to have a high potential for late prehistoric remains mainly consisting of Bronze Age burial areas.
