Abstract: |
<summary2>A watching brief was undertaken in conjunction with limited trenching during topsoil-stripping prior to an office development. Although a crop mark of a ditch aligned east-west forming part of a brickwork-pattern field system was known within the areas investigated, no archaeological features were identified. It was concluded that land use since 1975 (the date of the aerial photograph on which the crop mark was identified) had removed all traces of the ditch. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
