Abstract: |
The potential of the site to recover archaeological features or deposits of Palaeolithic date from the Taplow Gravels was considered low. The potential of the site for features/deposits of Romano-British or medieval date was considered low to moderate and depended on two factors: whether deposits of archaeological significance were preserved between areas of the site which had not been heavily disturbed during 20th century development; and whether any proposed development would be of a nature or extent which impacted on any surviving deposits.
