Abstract: |
An evaluation consisting of three machine excavated trenches was undertaken. It revealed a brick structure which fronted onto Green Street and may have been part of a row of buildings marked on the 1891 OS Map. A stone wall whhich was also revealed may well have been part of a small rectangular structure to the rear of the buildings. An area of deep post-medieval disturbance, possibly the result of a quarry, was also identified. [Au] |
